Town Square LV March 2013

 Doug and Stephanie and Jackson, Jordan, Kenzie, and Coleman stopped in LV on their way home from the Mariners Spring Training in Arizona.  It was great to meet them at Town Square.

After lunch and little more play time, they were on their way out of town.  

It was so good to see them.

Family is the greatest blessing.  Sure love you all.

Darrin and Shawnee with Carson, Yoshie, and Daisy,  Candis and Ryan with Anna, Xavier, Isaac, Eva, and Lincoln were in LV the week before and we also met at Town Square.  I forgot my camera, but took some pictures with my phone, but could not get them to transfer to my computer.  So I am unable to do a post of that event.

March 2013 - Visit to Tyler and Rose

On March 1st - Tyler's Birthday - I flew to Sacramento for Baby Gracie's Blessing.  Tyler and Lila met me at the airport.  We ate lunch and picked Avery up from school and drove to their home on Hunter Place.

That afternoon we took a little hike down from the park on their street.

We tried skipping rocks in the little creek.

My friend Cynthia Benson Lovell (from my childhood days in Moreland) met me for lunch on Saturday 3/2/13.  She lives in Orangevale - close to Folsom.  We had a nice time catching up.

January 2013 - Xavier's Baptism

On January 26, 2013 I went to Orem, Utah for Xavier's Baptism.  It was a cold winter day with snow on the ground.  The chicken had gotten out of the coop, so Xavier carried her back and put her into the cop.

Xavier is dressed and ready to go to the church for his Baptism.  What a handsome young 8 year old.

After the Baptism we had a delicious lunch at the Robert's home.  Special sandwiches, chips, sparkling drink, and yummy brownies for dessert.

In the evening of January 26, the Roberts children were given the chance to choose a place to go for an activity.  Xavier chose the fun center where, in the next few photos you will see Xavier, Isaac and Anna climbing the wall.

Sunday I rode the St. George Shuttle back to Las Vegas from Orem (Springville).

Beautiful Flowers

 Shawnee has the most beautiful flowers growing in her yard.  She takes such excellent care of them.  It is so relaxing to sit in or walk around her yard.

2012 July in Idaho

I had a chance to visit Paul while in Blackfoot.  He is now living in the extended care center of the Bingham Memorial Hospital.  He is experiencing the deterioration of his muscles and is unable to walk.

Paul has a Jazzy mobile wheelchair to get around.  He spends his time using his computer and communicating with the other occupants in the Center.  He is happy there and appreciates the services.

 Marilyn and I at the Lemmon Reunion held July 28 at the Bingham County Park in Shelley, Idaho.

 This is Uncle Byron and Aunt Patty with their son Rob and his wife.  Uncle Byron is the only living of my Mother's family.  Byron is the youngest of 11 children of Washington and Ida Lemmon.

 The picnic was in the shelter at the Park.  You can see Marleen Hillam, Jerry Hansen, Margaret Hansen and their daughter-in-law (wife of Marvin Hansen).

 Rulon Hillam conducted the reunion as Aunt Laura's family was in charge of  this year.  He is the only son of Aunt Laura, but he has 6 sisters.  He had a cassette tape of an interview with Grandma Lemmon before she passed away - so we got to listen to her tell about her growing up and about her family.

 Aunt Laura's children:  Bernice, Grace, Vonda, Lola, Nina, Margaret and Rulon.  They had the largest representation of all the families involved.

 Brian and Tina came to Darrin's Saturday night, so Sunday morning Daisy took the girls out to see the goats and ducks.  Daisy had made popcorn to feed the ducks.  Daisy, Alyssa, Ashton and Carinn on the bridge waiting for the ducks.

 Damon is ready to go also.  He gave a great talk in church on Gratitude.

Brian and Tina at Darrin and Shawnee's.  They spent the day before driving back to Rigby.  It was good to see them.  So glad they could come from Atlanta, GA and spend time with relatives.
